GoldStar started life as GoldStar Bookkeeping+ with only Amber to do absolutely everything. It was the little business with a heart of gold. Amber, a huge math nerd, was committed to helping people make sense of their money, and taking the time to do things right.
In 2024 she reconnected with an old high school friend Mike, and the wheels began to turn. Not only did Mike have finance experience, but over a decade in the technology sector.
What began life as a simple Bookkeeping business could evolve into something more. A single trusted place for clients to receive Finance, Marketing and Technology services. In 2025 Goldstar Business Solutions was born.

As a busy mom of twins, she's a master of the multitask and understand how life can sometimes get away from you.
She's always had the spirit of an entrepreneur. Constantly running little side businesses no matter what she was doing. A fire that pushed her to strike out on her own and do what she loves, play with numbers all day.
Her moral compass is the guiding star continues to steer GoldStar Business solutions today.
Mike
Who is Mike? Well he's the one writing this so I probably shouldn't talk to highly about myself so people don't think I'm bragging.
I'm GoldStar's resident, Tax and Technology Wizard.
I grew up in my parent's accounting office and have been filing T1 returns since I was 14. When it's not been tax season; I've worked in the technology sector. Starting in support roles, and working my way up to management in both the internet and VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), sectors. I've been described as "a dog with a bone" when it comes to tasks.

Growing up as the child of two entrepreneurs I decided it was time I followed suit, and made something for myself.
Every day has been a new experience and I wouldn't change it for the world.
